Sponsor a Child
Time and time again, we have witnessed that education is the key to helping children and their families break out of the cycle of poverty. This was the situation for our founder, Mr. Francis Agbemafle, who got sponsored at age 7. For this reason, educational sponsorship is the heart of Vima’s sponsorship program! Today, more than 500 students have benefitted from sponsorship across Ghana. Their sponsorship means they can attend school regularly and have the materials and support needed to succeed, regardless of their material circumstances. When you sponsor a child at VIMA, you can help to break the cycle of poverty and free a child to dream!
It’s simple really - one $55 donation each month provides a child at the VIMA Children’s Home with the materials they need to succeed in school, access to healthcare, clothing, and food - in hopes that we can one day help him/her break free from childhood poverty.
Your donation will greatly impact this child in a very personal way - and we hope you’ll take pride in that as a Sponsor.
Your donation will be dedicated to a specific child at the orphanage.
We also offer the opportunity for you to correspond with your assigned student
- writing letters and sharing photos via email with each other is a special way to get to know the very child you are helping!
